Every day millions of people where we work wake up to find themselves trapped in another day of poverty. For many this is made worse by isolation, disability and discrimination within society and even in law.
LEPRA is a charity that works with people who find themselves in these situations every day. With the support of people like you we find ways to bridge the gaps in health care and fight the physical and socio-economic barriers that leave people vulnerable to disease, disability and discrimination.
Together we transform lives by giving people a chance to break the cycle of ill health, isolation and poverty.

Lymphatic filariasis costs so little to treat…
40 million people are already disabled by LF. Items as simple as a bucket, soap and special shoes, together with simple techniques taught by LEPRA help people like little Shankar to get back on their feet.
£3 could pay for a special pair of shoes to restore dignity.
