Schools fundraising
LEPRA Health in Action’s regional community team are both educators and fundraisers. Although most often called upon to work with schools our team are also experienced in delivering interesting and relevant talks to churches, clubs and colleges.
Our team are experienced at supporting schools delivering informative talks, supported by good quality materials that open a positive window on the developing world and India in particular. The result is a positive impact on your students’ understanding in return for their fundraising efforts.
A typical school visit incorporates education about leprosy and LEPRA, followed up by any number of fundraising exercises. Our community fundraisers are often asked to address whole school assemblies and are quite happy to do so.
LEPRA has developed a fantastic range of materials for your school to learn more about leprosy, the developing world and our work. All are tailored to meet your requirements.
Our team of regional community fundraisers are ready to organise the whole process and will come to visit the school to give an educational talk, and to organise a fun fundraising event or schools workout with a qualified instructor -- ensuring that your students get a learning experience they won’t forget!
At all of the events we organise we make sure that everyone gets something special to take home with them. This includes a badge for all those that participate and a T-shirt for anyone who raises £21 or more.
