Leprosy in Nepal

Nepal is the only country in Asia that has not achieved the elimination of leprosy according to the World Health Organisation. Women and marginalised groups lack access to health services and they often develop disabilities. LEPRA Health in Action works through the Nepal Leprosy Trust (NLT) who support the national leprosy control programme.
