Fighting diseases of poverty

Edinburgh Marathon

Running the Edinburgh Marathon

The Edinburgh Marathon is a flatter and faster route making this a great event for first time marathon runners and runners aiming to beat their personal best.  The route passes an ancient castle, a beautiful coastline, an extinct volcano and a royal palace;  surely the most scenic marathon in the UK!

27th May 2012

Why not take in the many historic sites of Edinburgh whilst you run?  Start your marathon journey in the picturesque city centre and make a grandstand finish at the Musselburgh Racecourse.

Whether you have your own place, or would like to be considered for one of our guaranteed places, please get in touch with us and we can send you all the relevant information. We ask our guaranteed runners to raise a minimum of £500, this will help many children and adults affected by diseases of poverty.

You can either enter the marathon as an individual runner or share the 26.2 mile distance between a team of four and enter the ‘Hairy Haggis Marathon relay’.
