Educational campaigns
Generating awareness about leprosy among the general population is key for early diagnosis and to reduce stigma and discrimination towards those affected by it. Information campaigns are a main feature of LEPRA projects. Using group talks, public meetings, school education programmes, audio-visual presentations from mobile vans, drama presentations, posters, wall paintings and leaflets. In this way communities are motivated to seek treatment and accept those affected by leprosy.
Please donate now to support this work. We rely on the help of people like you to make sure we can continue with our important programmes here and around the world.
