Free voluntary HIV testing in India

LEPRA provides free HIV tests to those who are most at risk. Through information campaigns and counseling, students, truck drivers and sex workers are encouraged to take the test. Making people aware of their status helps them to become more aware of the implications of their illness, both for themselves and for others, and also increases their chances of a healthy life.
