Sandra, Emma, Liz & Maeve begin their challenge

Why not start the year by helping others? By taking part in a fundraising activity you can help change lives and give yourself a real challenge. Like Liz Kennedy, Sandra Horne, Maeve O’Brien and Emma Swinburn. They’ve completed several of our overseas bike rides between them and decided to take up an additional challenge.

Returning from their recent Land’s End to John O’Groats charity bike ride, LEPRA supporter Liz Kennedy tells us:

“Sandra (Horne) and I did the whole 1,033 miles and numerous vertical hills and Maeve (O’Brien) and Emma (Swinburn) joined us for the first two challenging days in Cornwall and Devon.

It was good fun -- most of the time… but not as good as the LEPRA India Bike Ride -- nothing could be!”

Between them, Liz & Sandra have done countless cycle rides for LEPRA but keep returning to Andhra Pradesh & Orissa on our India Bike Ride. Liz continued, “We really missed the India bike ride crew and were tempted to fly them out to support us.”
