Mobilising communities against lymphatic filariasis

Mobilising communities against lymphatic filariasis

A lot of work is being done to fight the stigma of this disease. People with lymphatic filariasis are discriminated against and stigmatised because they often have swollen legs and reproductive organs. They are rejected by family members and are isolated from the community, leaving them vulnerable to health complications and unable to look after themselves due to their disability.

Please donate now to support this work. We rely on the help of people like you to make sure we can continue with our important programmes here and around the world.
