The most common physical disfigurements caused by leprosy occur in the hands, feet and eyes. Correcting these with surgery can improve functional abilities and provide social acceptance for those affected by leprosy. LEPRA provides reconstructive surgeries free of cost in many of its projects to those in need allowing them to recover their self-sufficiency and reintegrate into society.

Please donate now to support this work. We rely on the help of people like you to make sure we can continue with our important programmes here and around the world.
