Fighting diseases of poverty

Post-TB rehabilitation through small loans

Post-TB rehabilitation through small loans

People affected by tuberculosis are likely to spend long and frequent periods out of work. This can have a significant economic impact on poor families who often depend on a daily income. LEPRA provides small loans to people who are recuperating from tuberculosis. This helps them generate an income, which later allows them to pay back the loan. It also provides access to a suitable livelihood for them and their families.

Please donate now to support this work. We rely on the help of people like you to make sure we can continue with our important programmes here and around the world.
