Prevention of parent-to-child HIV transmission in India
Every year LEPRA provides specialist treatment to pregnant women with HIV. This can help to prevent the transmision of the HIV virus from mother to child during delivery, allowing for children to be born healthy and without HIV. LEPRA also provides advice to HIV positive mothers on how to keep themselves and their babies healthy.
