Self-care groups in Nepal
In Nepal, LEPRA works through the Nepal Leprosy Trust (NLT) who support the national leprosy control programme. The focus of our activities is to prevent disability and to re-integrate people with disabilities into the wider community through their participation in self-help groups.
The groups also work to reduce the stigma and discrimination associated with leprosy and other socially excluding conditions.
